Answers to the most frequently asked questions

How do we go about booking you for our wedding?

After your initital consultation to look at albums and discuss your wedding plans and wedding requirements -

Please call to check that the date is still available. Once Mary has confirmed she can photograph your wedding,

then a £250 cheque/bank transfer deposit will secure your date.

Can we buy separate images/reprints of our wedding?

Yes prints are in folders or you can have framed or put on canvas or acrylic wall portraits.

Do you do pre-wedding portraits beforehand– because we both hate having our photograph taken?

Rest assured! Initially, most people feel the same but I’d say everyone enjoys the pre-wedding portraits, as it gives you

a chance to be in front of the camera together without being conscious in front of other people before the big day

– so that becomes one less thing to worry about. You also get to keep your favourite image/images as a memento.

Can we keep all the images?

From Silver option onwards the dvd of all the images are included. You do however have the option to buy the CD of

high resolution images with  the Bronze option @£495

When will our images be ready after our wedding?

The images are normally ready to view between 2-3 weeks depending on if your wedding is in/out of season.

Can we buy parents/Guest albums?

Yes. Traditional albums start at £250 for 12 images in a simple, leather album.

Contemporary digital wedding albums (A replica of your wedding album) are very popular

Small   (5x4)     £45 (minimum of 4)

Medium (8x6)     £200 each or £350 for 2

Large   (A4)      £300 each or £500 for 2

How long do you need for photography after the ceremony?

I need as long as the bride and groom want to give me – in terms of how many groups shots you want to have done.

I work quickly and endeavour to make it as fun as possible as we all want it to be an easy and fun memory of the day.

Groups shots can take longer depending on the venue and if guests have gone missing. Between us, we can work out

the quickest and best way to do any group shots but I would average a total of 20 minutes for any group shots then the

rest of the time photographing candids (natural) shots with bride and groom and guests.

Are you insured, in case anything happens on the day?

I have full back up with extra equipment, plus a network of top photographers (should I fall ill on the day).

Do you have anyone/venues that recommend your professional conduct and work?

Yes, I have a wedding planner : Sandy Moretta – Tern Events; also Franko, Jason, Maria and Dave from Picasso Catering;

Lucy from L’Artista Catering, Rachel and Michelle from Metroplitan Police Club; Shauna from Bushey Country Club,

John from St. James Hotel, London. Karen and Gary from Pageants Cars, Watford, Robert et al from Moor Park Mansions,

Andrea from Bushey Academy, Anne from Micklefield Hall. The best recommendations come from previous wedding couples of course,

of which I am putting together testimonials.

Can my friends and family photograph on the day too?

Yes, I have no problem with this as it’s an important day for them to capture too.

Do you do Thank You cards with our favourite wedding photo on?

Yes, I have some samples I can show you – There is a £25 charge for artwork and personal message and then £75 for a

minimum 100 cards with envelopes. There is also £10 delivery charge.
